RSVP Net << Prev | Top | Next >> RSVP Net is an enhanced version of RSVP, supporting more interactivity features than the main system. PIN Login It supports a login feature that enables audience members to enter a personal PIN number. This is used to track each person's response to his or her keypad. Audio / Video There is also a small microphone built into the keypad to allow the person to ask questions or give verbal feedback to the presenter. This feature can be accompanied by our AutoCam system, which uses robotic video cameras to view the audience members as they are speaking. Multi-Site Capability Finally, Net takes its name from the most powerful feature: networking multiple locations together for distance learning, satellite meetings and simulcast presentations. During a large, multiple city conference we can create a temporary audience response network that connects all of the cities to the host site and allows the presentation to include interactive questions, collecting feedback from all cities in just a few seconds. By working with the conference satellite feed, we can support live interactive questions to poll the audience, collect the responses, and display the results -- as a whole or broken down by city, etc. -- to allow the audience to participate in the meeting and supply real feedback for comparison among the other cities. The two hour long conference allowed doctors throughout the country--collecting CME credits--to participate in a national survey about key meeting issues. Meridia's multi-site network hub coordinated collecting the votes from each city, and monitored the live transmission throughout the meeting, allowing the presenters to see the doctor's responses from throughout the country in a matter of seconds. Medical questions were presented to the audience of doctors, who responded using Meridia's RSVP Net system. The results were immediately displayed over the satellite feed for everyone to see. In addition, instant demographic cuts of the results allowed the presenters to view responses city-by-city.
